Rain, slick bricks, walking boot, crutches, camera. Fall and (re)injure yourself under such circumstances and you will be ridiculed and shamed. Maybe even treatment withheld.
Here, I could lie and claim I did not even contemplate taking a walk under such circumstances. (Later I did walk. With escorts. The rain had stopped.)
Every two or three minutes a plane on its final approach to National would materialize shrouded in the low clouds ceiling. Determined, but not having much luck capturing these reveals.
So intent on capturing this plane just as it emerged into my view, while leaning off of my stoop, I’m not sure I even noticed the parade of umbrellas.
I’m like those photographers trying to capture the elusive Sasquatch. Apparently, if you take enough photos eventually he just walks in front of your camera.
