I’m Tired of Spring

Yes, it’s only a few days old and I’m ready to move on. I have no patience for its fickleness. There is too much uncertainty in my world without Spring flaunting it’s unpredictable weather. Uncertainty creates anxiety. I don’t need more anxiety in my life. Especially, from a recalcitrant season.

What is more, I don’t appreciate how Spring encourages its notoriety for being unstable. Take the month of March, for example. It’s a nasty little month. It can be unseasonably cold or warm. It can have snowstorms or thunderstorms or thunder snow. It is a month that relishes in its transitional status. “In like a lion, out like a lamb.” “Beware the Ides of March.” Such arrogant crap.  I don’t need a month like March in my life. It only makes sense that such a bombastic, self-promoting month would tout itself for being the month with the first day of Spring. Jealous, no doubt, of February’s leap year shenanigans and April’s whole showers for flowers claim.

These shots were taken 24 hours apart, the second and third days after the so called first day of Spring.

What is the point of this? What is it?!

Even more ridiculous is this outlandish March/Spring concoction, Buds and Flakes.

What a grotesque abomination. Nature loses me with this one.

Can we please just move on to Summer?
