I will confess to having a pagan ritual every Sunday morning spent in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. I have breakfast at La Maison Navarre or MN. MN is a wonderful French bakery probably best known for its macaroons of various flavors and miraculous colors. But, I love its breakfast croissant. A perfectly flaky freshly baked croissant sliced open to hold a perfectly fried egg, ham, and melted cheese. This little slice of Paris is owned and run by a delightful young French couple who charmingly speak English with heavy French accents. If you prefer, while you watch, they will make you a sweet or savory crepe. Oh, and they also make a great Cappuccino.
This past Sunday I shared my ritual with my family and my Leica SL with a 75mm M mount lens. The owners graciously granted me permission to take some photographs. The following photos have been cropped and Lightroom edited. (tricky lighting and novice camera operating requried some post shooting tuning).
