No, not a clever pun reflecting my walking boot and crutches impaired movement. I’m adressing something much more profound. Why is it that when you are suffering with one injury or illness you are not immune to another? There must be room in the cosmos for such a phenomenon. Has anybody really searched for it?
I seem to be worth studying.
Two days after rejoining my family, after being able to put full weight on my walking boot while using my crutches, I contracted a stomach virus. Now I’m laid up in bed again. To be sure, an actual bed this time, but once again relegated to shooting what’s in the room with me.
MIT, Princeton, Berkeley, Caltech, somebody should be studying this. Am I the only one concerned with this glaring violation of Newton’s third law?
